We had so many leftovers to work through that I’m finally getting around to eating this week’s food.

It’s been a few weeks since we had chicken salad as an option for lunch, and I’m reminded how much I love it! 1, it’s super tasty, and 2, it’s convenient as heck!

Yesterday’s rice was a hit, so I’m hoping the kids will still eat the last of this leftover pulled pork with some freshly made home fries 🤞🏻

We originally had plans to go to the zoo, but the rain was relentless. Since lunch was already packed, I took the kids to see a $3 movie for something different. The kids ate their lunch while they watched the big screen, plus a bag of organic popcor
I brought snacks to the park today (meat sticks, carrots, and peppers), and then we came home for a hot lunch of leftovers:

I prepped this food for in between games at my son’s baseball tournament this weekend, but due to rain, the tournament was canceled. At least that means lunch was already prepped today!

Here are my 4 kid’s lunches today. I divided 3 @eatcooked meals between the 3 big kids and added some berries. The 21 month old got little nibbles of everyone else’s food.

The kids really wanted to go to a park today, but I didn’t have any food that would work well as a picnic lunch. Rather than making an either/or decision, I turned it into an AND decision: play at the park closest to us for an hour, then head b
